What is UV PRINTING? 

  • The image is printed directly onto the surface of the wood using a UV flatbed printer.

  • The printer uses UV-curable inks, which are instantly hardened (cured) with ultraviolet light.

  • The image sits on top of the wood, like paint on a surface.

  • Textured finish- you can still feel and see the wood grain

  • UV printing allows very fine control of tones and highlights, ideal for sacred images where subtlety of face tones, gold halos, and inscriptions matter.
