INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY & RATES

OrthodoxGifts proudly serves customers around the world! We have shipped our products to customers across all seven continents and are committed to making international ordering as convenient as possible.

By placing an order online or by phone with a delivery address outside the United States, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this International Shipping Policy.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Additional Processing Time for Certain Products

Some products, including our Made-on-Demand Icons and other items produced by our Icon Studio, cannot be shipped directly to international destinations from the studio.

These items must first be shipped to our main San Diego warehouse for international fulfillment. This additional handling process typically adds approximately 3–5 business days to the normal production and processing time. There is no additional charge for this domestic transfer.

Shipping Methods & Rates

We strongly recommend FedEx for international shipments because of its comprehensive tracking and delivery visibility. We also offer several USPS international shipping options.

Available shipping methods and rates are displayed at checkout whenever possible.

Please note:

  • International shipping costs cannot always be calculated accurately at checkout.
  • If the actual shipping cost exceeds the amount collected at checkout, we will contact you with your available shipping options before proceeding.
  • We will never charge your credit card for additional shipping costs without your authorization.
  • Orders shipped to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses must be sent via USPS and are shipped without insurance.
  • Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

All customs duties, taxes, and import-related charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

These charges are determined by the destination country’s customs authorities and cannot be calculated or collected by OrthodoxGifts in advance.

If you refuse delivery because of customs charges, taxes, or import fees, you will be responsible for both the original outbound shipping costs and any return shipping charges incurred. These costs will be deducted from any applicable refund.

FEDEX INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS

*Our Preferred International Shipping Method*

FedEx is our recommended shipping method for international orders. Available service options will be displayed at checkout based on your delivery address.

Benefits include:

  • Detailed shipment tracking from our warehouse to your delivery address.
  • Delivery visibility throughout the shipping process.
  • Automatic shipment coverage of up to $100.
  • Additional insurance coverage available for purchase.

Additional FedEx Insurance

FedEx automatically provides coverage of up to $100 per shipment, subject to its applicable terms and conditions.

For merchandise valued above $100, additional insurance coverage is available. Please inquire before checkout.

FedEx Signature Service

FedEx may leave a package in a designated secure location if no one is available to receive it, depending on the delivery location and applicable service conditions.

If you prefer a signature upon delivery, you may purchase our FedEx Signature Request Option for an additional $4.00.  Please inquire before checkout.

USPS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OPTIONS

We offer several USPS international shipping services. Please review the differences carefully before selecting your preferred shipping method.

USPS Priority Mail International

USPS Priority Mail International is available for eligible international destinations.

Please be aware that shipments sent using this option are uninsured through OrthodoxGifts. Although USPS provides tracking numbers, tracking information may become limited or unavailable once a package leaves the United States.

By selecting this shipping method, you acknowledge and accept the additional risks associated with international transit without insurance.

USPS Global Express Guaranteed (GXG)

For customers seeking expedited international delivery, Global Express Guaranteed has historically offered date-certain delivery to eligible international destinations through a partnership with FedEx Express.

Service availability, delivery commitments, insurance coverage, and destination eligibility are subject to current USPS program terms.  Please contact us before selecting this option to confirm availability and applicable rates.

USPS First-Class Package International Service

We offer USPS First-Class Package International Service at a flat rate for qualifying shipments.

Please note:

  • Available only for eligible orders weighing less than four (4) pounds.
  • Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
  • Tracking availability varies by destination country.
  • Insurance and loss protection may not be available.

This is an economical option for customers who do not require expedited delivery.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

Due to elevated fraud and delivery risks, OrthodoxGifts reserves the right to decline or cancel international orders when we cannot reasonably verify the transaction or ensure secure delivery.
